SopCast Player Download Tracker

Hello all, and welcome to the download tracker for SopCast Player. This page is meant to serve as a brief history of SopCast Player as well as an up-to-date download counter.

History

-Version 0.1.0 was the first version and was only available for ubuntu or as a source code archive.

-Version 0.1.1 was a maintenance release. This was the first version that featured i386 and x86_64 binaries for Debian-based and RPM-based systems.

-Version 0.2.0 was a huge release and featured internationalization as well as multiple configuration options. The highlight of this release was becoming the official Linux player of sopcast.com.

-Version 0.2.1 was mainly a maintenance release. Highlights included additional language support and much better makefile support, thank you Orcan Ogetbil.

-Download Count

Future Enhancements (This page, not the player)

-Add AJAX enhancments to the Download Count section to eliminate the need to manually refresh to get the latest downloads count.

-Make it more visually appealing. This works, but I must admit it's ugly.

-Create a history page. This will give total number of downloads layed out by date.
